Office Administrator
Te Tūranga - The Role
Are you a skilled administrator who thrives on variety and challenges? We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team.
Details:
- Part-time position: 20 hours per week
- Working hours: 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday to Friday
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Experience with Xero or MYOB is must, specifically in Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.

ACTIVITY COORDINATOR
Te Tūranga - The Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a rest-home as a part-time Wyndham Rest Home Activity Coordinator. Our ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities.
Some of the remarkable things you will be doing but not limited to:
Plan and coordinate daily activities and events for residents (group and individual)
Develop and implement programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing
Organising transport and trips out in the local community
Work closely with other staff members to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for residents
Build relationships with residents and their families to understand their interests and needs better
Demonstrating knowledge of and adherence to Wyndham & Districts Community Rest Home Health & Safety policies at all times
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Preferably, you have an NZQA (or equivalent) Diversional Therapy (level 4) Certificate and/or previous experience preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar health care setting or have a strong interest in getting them, and work towards them once you start the job.
- Experience preferred but not necessary in event planning, recreation, or similar related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrating knowledge of and adherence to Health & Safety policies at all times

Our rest home is currently looking for a Senior Caregiver, and Caregiver to join our team permanently (part-time or casually).
